Pictures



Thanks to Paul at Igotyourbackman (see the blogroll) I can now post pictures. I thought for starters I'd post some of our horses.

It's funny, but when you tell folks you are from Texas, as I am, they immediately have these images of horses in the backyard and oilwells in the front. It's not like that, really, although DFW airport has started allowing drilling for natural gas so it does kind of look like the movies. BTW, if you ever want to take a vacation to someplace that really demonstrates the Old West, try visiting Alpine, TX or Terlingua. Truly it's another world. And people who haven't been there have no concept on how far we have come in less than 100 years.

Nice pics! I have relatives in Omaha by the way, but I only ever visited once when I was three.
